In 2005, the artist and stage designer Ieva Kaulina became interested in Janis Peitans Latvian adaptation of Friedrich Schillers play „The Robbers“. |
|||
The first part of Kaulinas video installation is based on her journey to the small village Dikli, where Peitans „Robbers“ was performed for the first time, in 1818. The second part is a series of interviews with young Latvians.

Kaulinas work was presented in 2005 at the international art festival „Räuber+Gendarmen“ in Weimar, and in the gallery „ag7“ in Riga. | |||||
